I hope you have stumbled across my little page here in good health and spirit! With this blog I aim to prove to the many sceptics out there that going vegan is, first of all, easier than you think and secondly, more delicious than you could ever have hoped for. Plus, you do not have to sacrifice flavour, texture or any emotional connections you have to certain meals (we all have them! I admit I still turn somewhat tearful when a creamy Carbonara is placed before me, only now it is vegan). But trust me, you can have your pasta and eat it too! Yes there is more to vegan cuisine than mung beans and any other oversimplified conception of veganism that we can summon and I am here to prove it to you. To add, I am a student (in my second year of a BA in philosophy), I work part time and I have a fluffy black miniature lion to take care of so you should find that most of my recipes are not only simple and do not utilise a magnitude of strange ingredients but they are also quick and inexpensive to make!
